After weeks of judging and another week of nail biting following our shortlisting, we’re delighted to announce that Fresh Egg has triumphed in the 2009 Econsultancy Innovation Awards!
The judging panel included some of Econsultanty’s in-house internet gurus as well as an international panel of third party experts and it was agreed by them all that the standard of the hundreds of entries was extremely high and that the winners were picked for their innovation either in creative terms or pure technology. We won this prestigious award in the “Innovation in Web Analytics and Optimization” category for our CallTrackID tool. Other companies shortlisted in this category were Speed-Trap, Kampyle and Wingify, and we send our commiserations to these companies.
It was declared by all of the judges that nowadays Call Tracking is absolutely vital to measuring how a marketing campaign is succeeding and this is a simple, but powerful solution. Nowadays the web doesn’t appear to get much credit from companies for it’s wonderful sales and leads, this is mostly due to the fact that the offline impact isn’t easily visible. Fresh Egg are proud to have developed something that is very clever, but not too technical that it can’t be used by everyone.
CalltrackID¢ is a “mash up” between a proven free tool (Google Analytics) and existing Telecoms technology the merging of SEO and telecommunications to enable the tracking of leads and data that were previously invisible.
Following on from our recent confirmation as a Google Analytics Authorised Consultant (GAAC) which in itself followed an intense scrutiny of our credentials in not only consultancy but analytics, this award further goes to show Fresh Egg’s knowledge and familiarity with the complete range of Google Analytics features. It’s also a brilliant opportunity to showcase our expertise in enhancing and hopefully extending those capabilities and features through the addition of CallTrackID¢.
